15 pt plumbing checklist

* Visual inspection of water heater

* Water heater flushing for water heaters 4 years or newer

* Visual inspection of the existing flue piping of water heater

* Visual inspection of existing furnace piping

* Check house water pressure. Recommended pressure is between 65 & 70lbs.

* Test sump pump for proper operation

* Check garbage disposal for proper operation

* Visually inspect all sink traps for corrosion

* Flood test all tub, sink & shower drains to ensure proper flow

* When possible shut off or turn on outside hose faucets depending on the season to ensure proper operation

* Visually inspect sink, tub & shower faucets to ensure proper operation

* Visually inspect washing machine hoses to help prevent flooding

* Where possible exercise all emergency shut off valves to ensure proper operation

* Confirm all toilets are secured and not moving or leaking

* Visually inspect toilet parts to ensure proper operation
